Most clients experience smoothness for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular appointments every four to six weeks help maintain results and may reduce visible regrowth over time.

Discomfort is usually mild and brief. Our estheticians use proper technique, temperature-controlled wax, calming pressure, and post-wax soothing products to minimize pain. Topical numbing can be discussed for particularly sensitive clients.

Ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long, avoid exfoliating or using strong retinoids 48–72 hours before, and come with clean, makeup-free skin. If you have concerns, mention medications or skin sensitivities when booking.

Don’t wax over sunburned, irritated, or inflamed skin, active cold sores, recent chemical peels, or if you’re using strong topical medications like prescription retinoids. Pregnant clients and those with certain medical conditions should consult prior to treatment.

Avoid heat, heavy sweating, and exfoliation for 24–48 hours. Apply a soothing gel or aloe, use gentle cleansers, and exfoliate lightly after 48 hours to help prevent ingrown hairs. Always use SPF on exposed skin.

Repeated waxing can weaken hair follicles and may reduce density or slow regrowth for some clients, but it is not guaranteed permanent. For permanent reduction, discuss options like electrolysis or laser hair removal with our team.
